The plan starts the day the site launches. Care plans have a 12-month term from launch, billed monthly. After the first 12 months they continue month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Prepay the first year and save 10%.

Questions owners ask
Do I need a care plan?
- If you have a store, yes: payments, apps and updates need looking after every month. A brochure site that rarely changes doesn't need one; it's warrantied for 60 days, we make updates on request, and its first year of hosting and domain are included in the build. After that it's $180 a year without a plan, and included with one.
What counts as an emergency?
- The site being down or checkout being broken. Both are defined in writing in your plan and handled ahead of everything else. Everything else is a standard request, answered the next business day.
What's in the monthly report?
- One page: visits, orders if you have a store, and whether the site stayed online. Written so you can read it in two minutes and see that the plan is doing its job.
What if I need more than my plan's hours?
- Work beyond scope is $150 an hour, quoted before we start, or you move up a plan. Unused hours don't roll over, so a plan sized to a normal month is the right one.
What happens if I stop?
- Care plans have a 12-month term from launch, billed monthly. After the first 12 months they continue month to month, and you can cancel with 30 days' notice. Prepay the first year and save 10%. Your domain, your words and photos, and for stores your Shopify and payment accounts, stay yours throughout. If you stop, we transfer the domain and hand over your content and images, so another developer can pick it up.
